Families across Pike Road are invited to embark on a jungle-themed adventure this summer as Woodland Methodist Church prepares to host its annual Vacation Bible School, “Rainforest Falls,” June 8-10.
Designed for children who have completed grades K-5, the three-day event will transform the church into a vibrant rainforest filled with interactive lessons, music, crafts, games, and activities centered around faith, friendship, and fun.
Organizers say the program is intended to provide children with a welcoming environment where they can learn about God while building relationships with other children in the Pike Road community.
“We are excited to welcome families from across Pike Road for this year’s VBS,” said Stacy Dickinson. “Rainforest Falls is all about creating an engaging, joyful atmosphere where children can grow in their faith, make new friends, and have an unforgettable summer experience.”
The colorful rainforest theme will feature tropical decorations, animals, waterfalls, music, and hands-on activities aimed at keeping students engaged throughout the event.
According to Dickinson, Vacation Bible School has become a meaningful summer tradition for many local families.
“One of the things we love most about VBS is seeing children connect with one another and with our church community,” Dickinson said. “We want every child who walks through our doors to feel loved, encouraged, and excited to come back each day.”
Woodland Methodist Church has long been active in serving families in the Pike Road area through children’s ministries, outreach programs, and community events. Church leaders say events like VBS are an opportunity to continue strengthening those community connections during the summer months.
