Residents of the Town of Pike Road will soon have a more convenient way to renew their vehicle registrations, thanks to a new partnership between Montgomery County, Montgomery County Probate Office, and the Town of Pike Road.
Beginning Tuesday, May 5, 2026, the Montgomery County Probate Office will offer remote auto tag renewal services at Pike Road Town Hall, creating an additional access point for residents who previously had to travel to one of the county’s probate office locations.
The new service will be available one day each week on Tuesday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a convenient option for Pike Road residents to renew their automobile tags.
County leaders say the initiative is part of an ongoing effort to improve accessibility and reduce wait times at existing probate office locations. Traditionally, residents have been able to renew tags online, by mail, or in person at one of four Montgomery County Probate Court offices across the city.
By bringing services directly into Pike Road, the goal is to make the process faster and more convenient—especially for those living outside of the City of Montgomery. The partnership reflects a broader push to modernize county services and meet residents where they are.
