The Town of Pike Road is gearing up to celebrate the start of a new school year with an exciting day of family fun, community spirit, and hometown pride during its annual Back to School Bash on Saturday, Aug. 1.
This FREE community event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the green space beside Publix, located at 1341 Pike Road.
Residents are invited to enjoy a morning filled with interactive activities, local businesses, live entertainment, and opportunities to connect with neighbors before students head back to the classroom.
One of the event’s biggest attractions will once again be the popular Touch-a-Truck experience. Children of all ages will have the chance to climb aboard and explore a variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, police cruisers, tractors, and other specialty equipment, while meeting the first responders and community professionals who operate them.
Throughout the event, DJ at Large will provide music and entertainment, creating a festive atmosphere for families to enjoy. Attendees can also browse a marketplace featuring Pike Road businesses and community vendors while enjoying food from local food trucks, which will be announced prior to the event.
The Back to School Bash is designed to celebrate the beginning of another school year while bringing together families, businesses, and community organizations in one of Pike Road’s signature community events.
Businesses located within the Town of Pike Road city limits or planning jurisdiction are invited to participate as vendors.
