While many students in the River Region have started the new school year, that didn’t stop one town from having its Back to School Bash this weekend.
Parents and students flocked to the green space by the Publix in Pike Road Saturday for the town’s party.
Students had the opportunity to design their own name tag for their backpacks and learn about police cars and other big vehicles in a Touch-A-Truck showcase.
Attendees also had the chance to listen to live music while enjoying treats from various vendors.
