The Town of Pike Road has officially broken ground on a new fire station and training facility, marking a significant investment in public safety and first responder development for the growing community.
Located on a 10-acre site on Wallahatchie Road near the existing Station 1. The new Pike Road Fire Station and Training Facility will serve as both a fully operational fire station and a centralized hub for training and education. The project is designed to enhance emergency response capabilities while also providing dedicated classrooms and hands-on training areas for local first responders. The Town of Pike Road purchased this property several years ago to expand fire protection services in preparation for the town’s rapid growth.
Town officials say the facility represents a forward-thinking approach to public safety, ensuring that firefighters and emergency personnel have access to modern resources and continued training opportunities. As Pike Road continues to grow, the new station will play a critical role in maintaining fast response times and supporting the needs of the community.
The Town of Pike Road has partnered with JMR+H Architecture PC and Russell Construction of Alabama, Inc. on the project, alongside Pike Road Fire. Together, the team will bring the vision of a state-of-the-art fire station and training facility to life.
Construction is expected to be completed in the summer of 2027.
Town leaders expressed appreciation for the collaboration and support behind the project, noting that the new facility will serve as a cornerstone for public safety and community preparedness for years to come.
