Three Pike Road Wrestlers Advance to State after 6A South Super Sectional

Pike Road High School Wrestling advanced three athletes to the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 6A state tournament after a strong showing at the 6A South Super Sectional held Friday, Feb. 6, and Saturday, Feb. 7. The top six finishers in each weight class qualified for the state championships, which will be held in Huntsville from Feb. 12–14.

Pike Road qualifiers:

  • Tristan Bradsher, Junior, 126 — first-time state qualifier
  • Dylan Yarema, Sophomore, 132 — three-time state qualifier; returning state champion
  • Jack Posey, Junior, 150 — four-time state qualifier; returning state placer

These athletes have worked hard all season to earn their spots on the state stage. They will represent Pike Road well in Huntsville.
