The Pike Road Lions Club will host its annual community yard sale on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Pike Road Town Hall, 9575 Vaughn Road.

Pike Road Lions Club member Wendy Blackmon said, “The yard sale allows us to support our five pillars—Vision, Diabetes, Childhood Cancer Awareness, Environment, and Hunger.”
“Locally, we send Pike Road children with Type 1 diabetes to Camp Seale Harris, where volunteer dietitians and doctors provide monitoring, and kids participate in activities they might not otherwise experience,” she said.
“We also provide gift cards for gas and meals to Pike Road parents whose children are traveling to Birmingham for cancer treatment,” Blackmon said.
“We help fund the Town of Pike Road’s community recycling center and support Woodland Methodist’s Summer Feeding Program and food pantry,” she added.
Blackmon also commended the club for starting its first scholarship. “It will go to a Leo member in honor of Charlene Rabren, who has played an important part in Pike Road and the Pike Road Lions Club.”
At the Pike Road Lions Club Annual Yard Sale, visitors can expect bargains from more than 70 River Region families and vendors, plus a live DJ, door prizes, and free on-site eye screenings. Biscuits, coffee, and soft drinks will be available.
