The Town of Pike Road will host its ribbon-cutting for the Pike Road Racquet Complex on July 14th at 10 am. This event will celebrate the opening of the new tennis courts located at 7150 Byron Nelson Boulevard.
The completion of these tennis courts signifies a step in the town’s commitment to enhancing public spaces and improving the quality of life for residents.
Supported by the ONWARD Town of Pike Road initiative, which was adopted in April 2024, the ribbon-cutting event will not only mark the opening of the tennis courts but also provide a glimpse into future investments in recreation within the community.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to arrive by 10 a.m. for the event, with the ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 10:15 a.m. The Town of Pike Road welcomes attendees to bring their family and friends to enjoy the festivities, with refreshments provided throughout the event.

Mayor Gordon Stone expressed his excitement for the new addition to the town’s recreational offerings, stating, “The Town of Pike Road is pleased to add another feature to its rapidly expanding array of recreational options. The Racquet Complex was made possible through the generous land donation by Cottonwood Golf Club and the support of our community tennis players.”
The location of the new Racquet Complex, adjacent to Cottonwood Golf Club, provides a scenic backdrop for tennis and pickleball enthusiasts of all ages. Surrounded by lush green spaces, the facility is designed to accommodate casual games and competitive matches, offering a welcoming environment for the community to enjoy.
