ProLine Auto Salon, a vehicle protection and preservation company specializing in high-end detailing, paint correction, paint protection film, ceramic coatings, and window tinting, has opened a new location in Pike Road. The shop, which began in 2009, is bringing its big-city standards and long-term, relationship-based service model to the fast-growing community.
“ProLine started out of a simple love for cars and wanting to raise the bar for what was available in our area,” said Donald Fazekas, co-owner of ProLine. “At the time, no one here was offering true high-end detailing or paint correction — the kind you’d find in big city shops working on collector cars.”
Donald said he learned the craft through industry forums, hands-on experimentation, manufacturer training, and mentorships under top detailers. As new technologies emerged, ProLine moved early. “We were the first in Alabama to offer ceramic coatings, and I was driving all over the state applying them before anyone else was doing it,” he said. The company later added paint protection film (PPF) and window tint to its lineup, ultimately evolving from a detailing outfit into a full protection and maintenance brand.
Today, ProLine’s services include PPF, ceramic coatings, professional window tint, paint correction, and high-end detailing designed to protect vehicles for the long term. The company has also expanded into architectural tint for homes and businesses and is part of a small group of XPEL-certified providers in the brand’s marine and aviation network. In 2024, XPEL recognized ProLine as Alabama’s Marketplace Leader. ProLine is also among the few shops in the state working directly with Tesla through XPEL’s preferred installer program — a fit the team says aligns with Pike Road’s growing EV community.
Donald credits the company’s reputation to experience and consistency. “It really comes down to our team,” he said. “We’ve got people who’ve been with us for years — the manager of our Pike Road location has been part of ProLine since 2012 — and they’ve worked on thousands of vehicles. Many on our team have factory training under their belt, and the collective experience they bring is something you don’t see often in this industry.” He added that the shop’s approach prioritizes education, clear recommendations, and craftsmanship. “We take time to explain options, recommend only what makes sense, and make sure the finished product reflects the pride we take in our work.”
Customers seem to notice. According to the company, ProLine has more than 200 five-star reviews highlighting attention to detail, honesty, and follow-through. “If you look through our reviews, a few themes show up over and over — attention to detail, honesty, and consistency,” Donald said.
The Pike Road location, which opened in March 2025, had been “years in the making,” Donald said. With a strong customer base already on the east side of the Montgomery area, the new shop brings the company closer to many of its clients. ProLine secured the space through DuBose Construction. The move was also personal: Donald grew up in East Montgomery and now lives in Pike Road.
“We’ve really enjoyed the sense of community out here,” he said. “Pike Road still feels like the kind of place where people value doing business the right way: with honesty, relationships, and a handshake. That lines up perfectly with how we’ve always tried to run ProLine.” Since opening, the company has partnered with local businesses and says it’s been encouraged by the area’s support.
As for what drives the business forward, Donald keeps the focus simple. “Build trust, do things the right way, and keep getting better,” he said. “We never wanted to just be ‘the best around here’ — we want to be a good shop, period.”
