Pike Road Elementary School (PRES) will welcome prospective families next week for its annual Kindergarten Kickoff, an open-house style event designed to help rising kindergartners and their families get familiar with the school before next year.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 26, from 4 to 6 p.m., with last entry at 5:45 PM.
Families will be able to see the school, meet kindergarten teachers and principals, and learn what makes kindergarten at PRES a special and joyful experience as the community begins celebrating the Class of 2039 Pike Road Patriots.
“Kindergarten Kickoff is when families of rising kindergartners can come see our campus, meet the kindergarten teachers and principals, and help their children feel comfortable and excited before next year. We love opening our doors to our future Patriots and giving them a joyful first look at life at PRES,” said Summer Rice, Public Relations, Pike Road Schools.

Formal registration for the 2026–2027 school year will open in the spring.
