Artists from the River Region and beyond will gather in Pike Road from Oct. 8–11 for the 14th Annual Pike Road Plein Air Paint Out, bringing creative energy and fresh perspectives to the community.
The multi-day event celebrates plein air painting—the practice of creating art outdoors, directly from life. Participants aim to capture the beauty of Pike Road’s landscapes, neighborhoods, and landmarks in their own artistic styles.
Now in its 14th year, the Paint Out has become a local tradition, welcoming artists who are inspired by the town’s scenery and sense of place. Residents may spot painters working on location throughout the community during the event dates as they translate Pike Road’s views onto canvas.
The Paint Out highlights the creativity of the region while offering an up-close look at the artistic process. It also underscores Pike Road’s commitment to celebrating the arts and the unique character of the town.
