Pike Road Football Duo Chosen for Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic

Pike Road High School Football will be strongly represented when two Patriots suit up for Team Alabama in the 39th annual Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic on Saturday, December 13, at Carlisle H.H. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

The Alabama High School Athletic Directors and Coaches Association (AHSADCA) finalized the 42-man roster Friday. The following three Pike Road Seniors were selected to play.

  • Jordan Holmes (WR/OB) — Committed to Kennesaw State. Holmes is a versatile player who has lined up across the formation, Holmes has added speed and run-after-catch ability to the Pike Road team.
  • Mile Khatri (LB) — Committed to West Virginia. A rangy, physical linebacker with sideline-to-sideline range, Khatri has been a dominant force in the Pike Road Defense.

Holmes and Khatri cap their high school careers with one of the South’s premier showcases, underscoring the depth and development inside Pike Road’s program while offering a final spotlight before they head to Kennesaw State and West Virginia, respectively.

“As always, we thank the committee for their time and dedication in picking this outstanding group of student-athletes,” AHSADCA Director James T. Lawrence said. “We look forward to watching these student-athletes compete against Mississippi in December. Along with Coach Kirk Johnson and his staff, we know they all will put on a great representation for our state and their respective schools and communities.”

The Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic contest is scheduled to be played Saturday, December 13 at Carlisle H.H. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg (MS) on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi. This year’s game will be televised over the AHSAA TV Network and the AHSAA link on the NFHS Network.

Roster Highlights

  • The 42-player Alabama squad features commitments across multiple Power Five programs.
  • Quarterbacks are Spain Park’s Brock Bradley (Clemson commit) and Jackson’s Landon Duckworth (South Carolina commit), setting the stage for a balanced Alabama offense that should make use of Holmes on the perimeter while relying on Khatri to anchor the defense.
