The Town of Pike Road will hold a ribbon-cutting to mark the grand opening of the Pike Road Center for History, Culture & Art (HCA), located at 900 Wallahatchie Road, on Wednesday, August 20. The Town is proud to announce the relocation and restoration of one of the oldest homes in our community, becoming a cornerstone of the new Pike Road Arts District.
The Town of Pike Road will welcome those attending to arrive by 9:45 a.m., with the ribbon-cutting to follow at 10 a.m. Guests are encouraged to bring all family and friends! Following the ribbon-cutting, guests will be invited to enjoy light refreshments and explore a curated showcase celebrating the history of the Town of Pike Road
This center has been converted into a dynamic space to showcase local artists and talent, tell the stories of the community’s rich history, and highlight the unique characteristics that make Pike Road special. It represents a new chapter in our ongoing effort to preserve and celebrate our heritage. The HCA will be a key feature of a developing seven-acre arts district that will include a theater and a multipurpose building. The site will also tie into the Town’s trail system, connecting directly to the Historic Town Center.
