One of Alabama’s oldest arts and crafts festivals will celebrate a major milestone this fall when the Pike Road Arts & Crafts Fair returns for its 60th year.

The community tradition will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the grounds of the historic Marks House, located at 890 Old Carter Hill Road in Pike Road.

Established in 1967, the Pike Road Arts & Crafts Fair has grown into a much-anticipated annual event that welcomes thousands of visitors for a day of shopping, food, family activities and community fellowship.

Nearly 180 artisans and vendors from Alabama and across the Southeast are expected to participate in this year’s fair. Visitors will be able to shop for an extensive selection of original, handmade items, including fine art, woodworking, pottery, textiles, clothing, metalwork, holiday décor, health and beauty products and more.

The fair will also feature a variety of locally made food products, including homemade jams and jellies, honey, gourmet sauces and specialty rubs.

“The Pike Road Arts & Crafts Fair is more than just an event. It’s a celebration of community, creativity and history,” said Morgan Joiner, chair of the 2026 fair. “Each year, thousands gather on the grounds of the Marks House to support local artisans and experience a piece of Pike Road’s heritage. We are honored to continue this tradition for the 60th year.”

Food has long been an important part of the fair’s appeal. Guests can enjoy favorites such as The Chicken Shack, barbecue, fresh lemonade and creamy gelato. The Sweet Shop inside the Marks House will also return, along with the fair’s famous Mocha Nut Squares.

Families can enjoy face painting, pony rides and a petting zoo. A designated area will also be available for guests who want to relax and watch college football during the day.

“Last year’s fair had an incredible turnout, and there was such a great energy throughout the grounds all day,” said Alana Breedlove, co-chair of the 2026 fair. “Seeing thousands of people come together to support our artisans, enjoy the grounds of the historic Marks House and experience a tradition that has been part of this community for generations is what makes the fair so special. We are excited to build on the success of last year as we celebrate our 60th year.”

The outdoor event will be held rain or shine. Admission is $5 per person, with children ages 8 and younger admitted free. Admission is cash only.

Free parking will be available, including designated accessible parking.
