Merry Corners Developers Announce Lineup of New Tenants

by Pike Road News

The Trotman Company, Inc., a full-service retail development firm based in Montgomery, AL announced the lineup of tenants for the Merry Corners development.

The development’s tenant lineup blends national brands with locally owned concepts, offering residents and visitors a wide range of new options in one centralized location.

Among the highlights is A’Kays Coffee, a locally owned coffee shop that will offer both drive-thru and sit-down service. Designed to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the coffee shop has invested heavily in its build-out and plans to focus strongly on serving local customers.

Mr. Mattress, an upscale mattress retailer that began in South Alabama, will also open a location at Merry Corners. With more than eight successful stores throughout Central and South Alabama, the company offers well-known brands including Beauty Rest, Capital Bedding, and Casper, along with sleep accessories designed to promote better rest.

Health-focused dining options will be well represented, including Tropical Smoothie Cafe, a national chain known for catering to both health-conscious customers and those seeking indulgent treats. The center will also feature Pro Bowl Mongolian Grill, where customers can customize meals by selecting meats, vegetables, and sauces cooked on a large 84-inch grill. The restaurant will also serve beer, wine, and other beverages.

Adding to the retail mix is Simply Charming, a new gift store coming to Pike Road. The owners bring extensive experience in fashion and retail, positioning the store as a unique shopping destination within the center.

Merry Corners will also introduce several distinctive dining concepts. Lee Gimbap, an authentic Korean premium roll restaurant, will open its second U.S. location at the center after operating multiple stores in Korea. Teriyaki Madness, an Asian fusion restaurant originating from Denver, Colorado, will offer a menu featuring chicken bowls, rice bowls, and orange chicken, among other Asian-inspired dishes.

Popular national favorite Firehouse Subs will join the lineup, known for its consistent quality, strong service, and loyal following.

Entertainment and nightlife options will be anchored by The Goat Bar and Grill, a full-scale sports bar featuring classic sports-bar dishes, craft and draft beer, artisan liquor drinks, and televisions throughout the restaurant for sports viewing. Developers say the venue is also planning a special feature for the entire area, to be revealed at its grand opening.

Service-based tenants include Phoenix Physical Therapy, a leading physical therapy group with locations spanning from Michigan to Alabama, and Nolan Family Pharmacy, a new locally owned pharmacy led by Jeremy Nolan and his wife Jordan. The pharmacy will offer personalized service and unique offerings aimed at serving both local and regional customers.

Merry Corners currently has one remaining space available, measuring approximately 1,400 square feet, and is in active negotiations with several potential tenants.
