Homeowners Push Back Against Development in East Montgomery

On Nov. 5, the Montgomery City Council will consider a rezoning proposal that could impact 3,000 residents.

Developers want the land on the corner of Ray Thorington Road and Pike Road to become a commercial development.

Residents have expressed disapproval of having commercial development in that area, with more than four homeowners associations calling on the Montgomery City Council to vote against it.
