On Thursday, June 25, the Town of Pike Road hosted one of the River Region’s first Independence Day 2026 celebrations at the Pike Road Agriculture, Recreation & Performing Arts Park. The rain couldn’t spoil the fun, and the wet evening ended with a spectacular fireworks show.
SummerFest is a huge collaborative effort that would not be possible without so many volunteers and great partners. The town is very thankful for all of the work and effort friends put into the event. We are most thankful for our residents and neighbors throughout the River Region who took the time to join us and even stay through the rainy evening.
Highlights from the family friendly patriotic event included the recognition of the United States Armed Forces and the unveiling a Pike Road America 250 rolling mural. Everyone in attendance had the opportunity to be the first to sign their names to the huge mural which will make its way to stops all over town through the month of July.
