The Alabama State Department of Education is releasing its annual report card for the 2023-24 school year, which will give you an idea of how the state, as well as your child’s specific school system is doing academically.
Overall, the ALSDE said the state averaged an 85, or a B. That’s up slightly from the previous year when it had an 83.
