The Pike Road Lions Club continues its tradition of “We Serve” by making a meaningful investment in the health and well-being of Alabama’s children.
Representing the club, Nancy and Larry Stowe recently presented a $3,500 donation to Michaela Stokes of Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children in Birmingham. The contribution will support the hospital’s Childhood Cancer Program, helping provide specialized care, innovative treatments and compassionate support for young patients and their families during some of life’s most challenging moments.
Benjamin Russell Hospital for Children is nationally recognized for its outstanding pediatric care. The hospital serves thousands of children each year through advanced medical treatment, research and family-centered support. Donations such as this help ensure young patients receive exceptional care while advancing programs designed to improve outcomes for children battling cancer.
The Pike Road Lions Club expressed its sincere appreciation to everyone whose generosity and volunteer efforts made the donation possible.
