The Pike Road Quilters, a group of dedicated women and one gentleman who meet regularly to share their passion for quilting, have created a beautiful commemorative quilt in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
Recently, Chris Sandstrom and Charlene Rabren went on WSFA-NBC12 to talk more about the group and its “250 Quilt”.
The handcrafted “250 Quilt” will be given away during Pike Road’s Summerfest as part of a fundraiser benefiting the quilting group. The project showcases the creativity, craftsmanship and community spirit of the Pike Road Quilters while honoring this historic milestone in our nation’s history.
