The Pike Road Patriot Fund is preparing to host one of the town’s most anticipated spring traditions, as the annual Crawfish Boil returns on Saturday, May 2, 2026.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Century Church, bringing together families, students, and supporters for a day centered on food, music, and community impact.
Organized each year by the Patriot Fund, the Crawfish Boil serves as the nonprofit’s primary fundraiser, helping provide financial support for arts and athletics programs at Pike Road Schools. Since its founding, the organization has distributed more than $200,000 in grants benefiting student activities ranging from athletics to fine arts initiatives.
“This event is more than just a gathering,” organizers emphasize. “It’s a tradition that fuels opportunities for students both on the field and in the classroom.”
Patriot Fund Board Member Brian Harris said the impact of the event continues to grow each year. “The Annual Crawfish Boil is more than just a great meal or a fun day outside. It’s a vital investment in our students,” Harris said. “Over the last 13 years, we’ve given back more than $212,000 to Pike Road Schools’ arts and athletics programs.
He shared, “In 2025, the beneficiaries include the Tennis, Wrestling, Cheer, and Football teams, as well as the Show Choir, Theatre, and FFA. You can even visit our site at PRPatriotFund.com to see how the money this event raises is used each year.”
Attendees can expect a full day of activities, highlighted by all-you-can-eat Louisiana-style crawfish, live music performances, and a variety of family-friendly attractions. Local musicians including Wesley Hill, The Brandon Self Band, and Sarah Stone are scheduled to perform throughout the day.
In addition to live entertainment, the event will feature a Kids Zone with inflatables, face painting, and interactive activities designed for younger attendees.
Harris also emphasized that the event will move forward regardless of weather conditions. “We want everyone to know that this is a rain-or-shine event,” Harris said. “Even if the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll be out there handing out sacks of crawfish to-go for every paying ticket holder. Your support matters regardless of the forecast because the needs of our student-athletes and artists don’t stop for rain.”
Ticket options include student and general admission, both offering access to unlimited crawfish and entertainment, with prices increasing on the day of the event.
The Crawfish Boil has grown into a signature event for the Pike Road community, drawing crowds each year and strengthening local support for education. Organizers say the goal remains simple: bring people together while investing directly in the future of Pike Road students.
