Pike Road Wrestling capped the 2026 season with two podium finishes at the AHSAA Class 6A State Championships as both Dylan Yarema (132 lbs) and Jack Posey (150 lbs) earned third place.
Congratulations to:
- Dylan Yarema (132 lbs) — 3rd Place, AHSAA 6A State Championship
- Jack Posey (150 lbs) — 3rd Place, AHSAA 6A State Championship
Both wrestlers battled through tough matches to get on the podium at state. Yarema’s bronze was a testament to his resilience—he overcame a torn UCL earlier in the year and even wrestled after having the flu to finish his season on the stand. Posey showed marked improvement over last year, jumping from a 6th-place finish in 2025 to 3rd in 2026.
While Tristan Bradsher did not place, he fought hard and represented Pike Road well at the AHSAA 6A State Championship. The staff expects big things from him next year.
These athletes overcame so much this season, and the program couldn’t be prouder of their grit and growth. With Yarema, Posey, and a strong group of returning wrestlers, Pike Road Wrestling has high expectations heading into next year.
