Matted Memories & More, recognized for preserving cherished keepsakes with museum-grade framing, is stepping into a new role: a creative hub for hands-on learning. The studio has introduced a slate of pottery classes, art workshops, and other creative experiences designed to help people slow down, make something meaningful, and feel better in the process.

According to the studio, the classes invite participants to “create the moments worth preserving,” shifting the focus from simply displaying memories to making them. Billed as a “gentle retreat from the everyday,” the sessions emphasize the peaceful process of making, offering time and space to unwind and reconnect with tactile, craft-based skills.
Instructors guide students in a calming, supportive environment, encouraging creativity without pressure. The approach is as much about wellness as it is about technique: attendees are meant to leave with a finished piece and a refreshed, centered mindset. As the studio frames it, this is “art as a form of wellness.”

The expansion marks a natural evolution for the brand. For years, Matted Memories & More has been a destination for honoring life’s meaningful moments through careful, museum-grade preservation. Now, by hosting pottery and art workshops, the studio is inviting the community into the creative process itself—transforming the act of making into an experience worth framing.
