Amwaste waste collection will be halted on Christmas and New Year’s to allow workers time to spend with family. On Thursday, December 25, due to the Christmas holiday. Residents whose regular pick-up falls on Thursday will receive service one day later, on Friday, December 26. Friday pick-up will receive service one day later on Saturday, December 27.
Amwaste will also halt waste collection services on Thursday, January 1, due to the New Year holiday. Residents whose regular pick-up falls on Thursday will receive service one day later, on Friday, January 2. Friday pick-up will receive service one day later on Saturday, January 3.
Collection days that fall before the holidays will not be affected.
What to know:
- If your regular pick-up is Thursday, December 25 or Thursday, January 1: Your collection will occur the following day.
- If your regular pick-up is Monday–Wednesday, No changes to your schedule.
Residents are encouraged to plan accordingly for these temporary changes in service.
