On Friday at Oak Mountain’s Rumble on the Mountain Tournament, Pike Road’s Dylan “Pickle” Yarema officially joined the 100 Varsity Wins Club, sealing the milestone with a dominant 18–2 technical fall.
The victory came shortly after his Gulf Coast Clash title and showcased the same control, composure, and constant pressure that have defined his climb to 100.
This win comes just a week after Yarema turns 16. This 100 varsity wins is an incredible milestone and a testament to his grit, talent, and relentless work ethic.
He is a great example of a Pike Road student-athlete and will continue to help push the Pike Road wrestling team forward as a sophomore.
The Rumble on the Mountain tournament continues through today, with Pike Road back on the mat as the action rolls on. More wins are expected today from Yarema and the Pike Road team.
With 100 in the books, the goals for Yarema get bigger—more team points, more podiums, and more moments like this season.
