The Montgomery County Commission has adjusted its County Clean-Up Day schedule for the upcoming holiday months. The November Clean-Up Day will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, and the December event is set for Saturday, December 20, 2025.
Residents may bring household items, yard waste, and other non-hazardous materials to designated collection sites across Montgomery County at no cost. Dumpsters will be available at convenient locations to help residents properly dispose of items and keep communities clean. Items not accepted include appliances, tires, batteries, paint, chemicals, and hazardous waste. Items too heavy to be loaded manually will not be accepted.
Local Clean-up locations include:
- Mount Meigs: Pike Road High School
- Pike Road: County Lot on Meriwether Road (across from The Feed Lot)
The County typically hosts Clean-Up Days on the last Saturday of each month—except for November and December—through a partnership with Martin Environmental Services. According to the county’s Clean-Up Days webpage, collection sites operate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
