The Town of Pike Road is inviting residents to weigh in on proposed intersection improvements at Pike Road (CR-85), Wallahatchie Road (CR-40), and Meriwether Road (CR-83).
The project, led in coordination with the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT), would realign Meriwether Road and install a new roundabout to improve traffic flow, reduce serious crashes, and support the area’s continued growth.
An informal, in-person public meeting will be held Thursday, December 4, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Founder’s Station, 4902 Pike Road. Attendees can review project details, ask questions, and provide feedback. The facility is wheelchair accessible; individuals needing special accommodations are encouraged to contact organizers at least two days in advance.
