Pike Road Schools’ district-wide “One Day. One Goal. Full Hearts.” food drive collected hundreds of pounds of food on Tuesday, November 4, all of which is being delivered to the Woodland Food Pantry to support Pike Road families.
To say the effort was successful is an understatement, the district said in a post-event statement. “Today has been a powerful example of Patriots helping Patriots. Watching the donations pour in from across our schools was nothing short of incredible. From morning carpool drop-offs to end-of-day collections, our staff, students, and families came together in such a meaningful way. My heart is overflowing with gratitude… Thank you for showing once again what it means to be a Patriot.”
Donations flowed through car lines at Pike Road Elementary School, Pike Road Intermediate School, and Pike Road Junior High and High School on the Georgia Washington Campus, with additional collection boxes stationed at each school and the district’s Central Office at 10350 US Hwy 80. Items included breakfast foods, boxed meals, canned ravioli and spaghetti with meatballs, snacks, crackers, and condiments—underscoring the district’s message that every can, box, and bag makes a difference.
All items collected remain in the Pike Road community through the Woodland Food Pantry, supporting students and families—including those affected by furloughs or reduced benefits.

“One Day. One Goal. Full Hearts.” proved more than a theme—it was the spirit of the day, as Patriots helped Patriots across every campus in Pike Road.
