Pike Road Nutrition has a new owner: Huntingdon College student and entrepreneur Hannah DeVaughn. The full-time double major in Religion and Criminal Justice expands her footprint in the River Region with the acquisition of Pike Road Nutrition (PRN), adding to her role as owner of Holtville Nutrition.
DeVaughn’s journey began at Holtville Nutrition, where she started as a manager before taking over ownership when the previous owner retired. She officially opened Holtville Nutrition under her leadership in February 2025. “I managed the store before becoming the owner and fell in love with the products,” DeVaughn said. “The previous owner retired and gave me the opportunity of a lifetime to take ownership.”
That first year cemented her passion for both the products and the people. “After opening my first store, I not only fell in love with the products even more, but I built a strong connection with each customer that came through those doors,” she said.
When she learned Pike Road Nutrition was seeking a new owner, DeVaughn didn’t hesitate. “These products are awesome,” she said. “The business itself has helped me as a college student learn life skills, build relationships, and be able to get myself through college. I knew when I saw the Pike Road store and the minute I started meeting the people of the community that this is exactly where I was supposed to be.”

As she settles into her new role in Pike Road—more than an hour from her hometown—DeVaughn says the community has made the transition seamless. “I was nervous about meeting people,” she said. “Everyone has welcomed me with open arms and supported me every step of the way as I am adjusting to my new store.”
Balancing two storefronts with full-time college studies might sound daunting, but DeVaughn says the experience is shaping her personally and professionally. “This business has taught me life skills and helped me build relationships,” she said. “I’m excited to serve Pike Road and continue growing with this community.”
