Businesses, neighborhoods, and schools across the community are putting the finishing touches on their creative “Hay, Look at Us!” haybales as the 2025 competition enters its final stretch.
Judging for the main contest will take place Saturday, October 19. Organizers remind participants that all haybale entries must be fully completed before 8:00 AM that morning.
Winners will be announced Monday, October 20, during the live “Mondays with the Mayor” radio show, airing from 12–1 PM on The MAX Round Table (WTXK 107.5 FM/1210 AM). The announcement is scheduled for approximately 12:30 PM.
People’s Choice voting will also kick off on Monday, October 20, on Facebook. Community members can cast their votes by “liking” the photo of their favorite haybale. Voting closes at 10 PM on Sunday, October 26, with People’s Choice winners announced later that day.
- September 27 – October 18: Decorate and “Tell Us Your Story!”
- October 19: Official judging; entries must be complete before 8:00 AM
