The Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association will host a Showcase of Homes Sept. 20-21, featuring the 2025 Ideal Home in the new Kinsley at McDade development in Pike Road.
The building of this year’s “ideal home” was led by Josie Young of Russell Construction of Alabama, the first woman in a long time to build the Showcase of Homes Ideal Home. The Ideal Home highlights the newest trends, fresh ideas, and cutting-edge features in home design and construction.
It’s one of more than 40 homes that will be featured in the Showcase of Homes throughout Central Alabama and at Lake Martin. All of the homes included in the showcase will be open for tours and purchases.
The idea behind this weekend is to give prospective buyers an up close look at the all of the latest design trends and ideas, and give them a chance to interact with builders and ask questions.
This year’s Showcase is extra special, as GMHBA proudly celebrates 75 years!
Homes are open 1 p.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Plan your tour by visiting www.gmhba.org, where you’ll find a full list of homes and details. Printed guides will also be available at each participating home.
