BBQ Hill is gearing up to host the inaugural Ancillary Food Championship on August 2nd, drawing cook teams from across the country to compete in a feast of flavors. This exciting event will welcome competitors from Illinois, Virginia, Texas, and beyond, all converging in Pike Road for a day of culinary excellence. The championship, held in association with the Steak Cookoff Association, will feature a diverse range of categories including Smashburger, Anything Bacon, Anything Dessert, Anything Seafood, Anything Cane Brew Tea, Anything Hall’s Sausage, Anything Compart Pork Chop, Pork Ribs, and Steak. This variety promises a thrilling showcase of cooking talents and creative dishes.

The event schedule is packed with a series of timed turn-ins throughout the day and wrapping up with an awards ceremony to honor the best in each category.

9 am: Cooks Meeting
11–11:15 am: Anything Cane Brew Tea
12–12:15 pm: Anything Bacon
1–1:15 pm: Anything Seafood
2–2:15 pm: Anything Dessert
3–3:30 pm: Steak
4–4:15 pm: Anything Hall’s Sausage
5–5:15 pm: Anything Compart Pork Chop
6–6:15 pm: Smashburger Turn In
7–7:15 pm: Pork Rib Turn In
8 pm – AWARDS
