The Town of Pike Road officially cut the ribbon on the new tennis courts at the Pike Road Racquet Complex on Monday, July 14, 2025. Located at 7150 Byron Nelson Boulevard, the courts mark the first phase of the Town’s latest investment in recreation through the ONWARD Town of Pike Road capital improvement initiative, adopted in April 2024.

In addition to celebrating the tennis court opening, guests from our Pike Road School system, local news outlets, and surrounding community received a preview of what’s next for the Pike Road Racquet Complex and additional recreation enhancements being planned as part of the ONWARD initiative.
“Since the earliest days, the Town of Pike Road has been strategic and intentional in our investments,” said Mayor Gordon Stone. “The grand opening of the Pike Road Racquet Complex, along with the announcement of new athletic and recreational programs, is truly exciting. These developments provide opportunities for residents of all ages to enjoy fellowship and friendly competition. From tennis and pickleball to softball, baseball, cross country, and FFA, we look forward to seeing the smiling faces of our involved residents. We are grateful to everyone who made this possible—especially TK, LLC, Cottonwood Golf Club, and Mr. Kim—for the generous donation of land for the Pike Road Racquet Complex.”
The Complex was designed to be an inclusive, thoughtfully planned space that offers a scenic and accessible environment for tennis players of all ages and skill levels. Located next to Cottonwood Golf Club on land generously donated by the Club, the facility also benefits from shared amenities and surrounding green spaces, making it an inviting destination for both casual play and competitive matches.
