Pike Road Schools has recently announced the selection of Brandon Benson as the new band director for Pike Road High School. Benson is a native of Florence, AL, and a proud graduate of Sheffield High, bringing with him a wealth of experience in music education and performance.
Benson’s credentials include degrees from Northwest-Shoals, the University of South Alabama, the University of Florida, and he is currently pursuing his doctorate from Liberty University. With his extensive academic background and dedication to his craft, Benson is poised to make a lasting impact on the students at PRHS.
Throughout his career, Benson has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in music education, leading award-winning bands and organizing major events like the renowned Little Big Horn Marching Band Competition. His proven track record of success and passion for music make him an ideal fit to lead the PRHS Band.
