A Pike Road man was killed Sunday evening after a 3-vehicle crash, according to the Montgomery Police Department.
Police and fire medics were called to the scene just after 6:30 p.m. in the 4200 Block of Troy Highway. There, they found a 2022 Dodge Ram, a 2008 Ford F-450, and 2012 Chevrolet Equinox involved in the collision.
First responders found the driver of the Dodge, identified as Derrel Brooks, 44, of Pike Road, who was pronounced deceased.
Three other victims, including the drivers of the other two vehicles, as well as a passenger from the Chevrolet, were each taken to area hospitals for treatment of minor injuries, according to MPD.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
