The Town of Pike Road will honor local service members and their families with its 14th Annual Veterans Appreciation Ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025. The community gathering begins at 2 p.m. at the Pike Road Veterans Memorial at Veterans Park, 4902 Pike Road.
Announcing the event, the town invited residents to “join us on Sunday, Nov. 2 as we honor the men and women who have sacrificed so much to keep our country free.” The ceremony is part of Pike Road’s annual tradition of recognizing veterans’ service and sacrifice during the Veterans Day season.
The event will take place at the community’s Veterans Memorial inside Veterans Park, offering a reflective setting for neighbors, families, and veterans to come together in gratitude. Now in its 14th year, the ceremony underscores the town’s ongoing commitment to honoring those who have served.
As part of the program, Town of Pike Road Mayor Gordon Stone will dedicate newly installed, personalized bricks honoring individual veterans at the memorial—offering a lasting tribute to their service and sacrifice.
Highlights of the afternoon will include patriotic music by the Capitol Sounds; and the presentation of a handmade, patriotic quilt to a veteran in attendance by the Pike Road Quilters.
